Should I book a trial?

To ensure your big day flows easily, and to make any changes, trials are a great way to see how beautiful you will look in advance. These can take place weeks or months prior, and can include experimentation with different looks. Usually the bride decides to have a trial but sometimes other members of the bridal party may want one at the same time. It is entirely up to you!

What do I need to do on the day of a trial?

On the day of the trial it would be beneficial if you could inform us or have ready the colour/s of the dresses, veil, head piece, flowers, jewellery...anything that can help assist us to ensure that the look we create is right for your special day. We also ask that your hair is washed and dry and skin free of makeup prior to our service.

Should I wash my hair on the day of my wedding or special occasion?

Preferably NO, we recommend your hair is washed a day prior to your service as this will allow your hair to settle and make best use of the products used to style.

What Make Up and Hair products do you use?

We choose to use ArtDeco, Germany's No.1 selling brand. ArtDeco is lightweight, long lasting and has a silky smooth finish. Offering a variety of gorgeous colours and shades, this product will leave your face feeling flawless. Our hair products are of high quality salon standard and are strong holding.

Do I get to keep the makeup or products used?

Unfortunately NO, however we will advise you on how to ensure your look stays best throughout the day and night. Alternatively, you may wish to consult with our make-up artist after your trial for her to arrange the purchase of correct colours or products required at an additional cost.

How do I secure my booking?

A 50% deposit is required to secure wedding bookings. The remaining balance is due on the day of your service.

If you choose to cancel 2 months prior to booking with us a full refund will be issued, unfortunately any day after T&A Beauty cannot refund due to the loss of another potential booking.

To avoid disappointment it is advised that a deposit be paid within 7 days of confirming your booking. We will forward you all the necessary paperwork, information and deposit forms to secure your date.

What suburbs do you service and do you charge travel fees?

We service all of Melbourne and VIC.

A travel fee will apply if you are located further than a 20km radius of the North West.

A surcharge may also apply for public holidays. Please contact us for further details.

Should I have images of Make Up & Hair ready prior to my service?

YES, images are important to ensure we give you the desired look you are after on your special day. These are best emailed to us prior to your trial date.

Do you supply fake lashes?

YES, fake lashes are provided if you wish, although an additional $10 fee will apply per person.
